The Volvo brand has slowly but steadily been releasing a series of teasers to give fans in the Chicago, IL a look at the upcoming redesigned 2015 XC90. Last month we took a look into the crossover's interior, but there was one special feature within that really grabbed our attention.
The sound system of the 2015 XC90 is the result of a collaboration between Volvo and the British audio developer, Bowers & Wilkins. Together, the two brands have recreated a sound experience that is comparable to being at a liver performance in the Gothenburg Concert Hall.
This incredible sound quality is attributed to tweeter-on-top technology and an air-ventilated subwoofer, which allows for a higher ratio of directly reflected sound and lower bass tones.
When the XC90 joins the new Volvo in our Schaumburg, IL this fall, we bet the audio system is the first thing you'll want to experience during a test drive.
