Last week here on Patrick Volvo's blog, we celebrated 50 years of manufacturing at the automaker's Torslanda facility in Sweden. It is here that the upcoming next-generation of the XC90 will be manufactured and join the rest of the new Volvo lineup in our Schaumburg, IL showroom early next year.
However, our focus is now turned to the debut of this redesigned mid-size crossover slated for August. Until then, the Swedish automaker has been tiding us over with small tidbits of information on the new XC90, but the latest details gave us a great deal of information in video form.
The 2015 XC90 will be the first Volvo vehicle to feature the brand's new Scalable Product Architecture and includes luxurious materials such as wood, leather and crystal alongside of innovative technology like a touchscreen infotainment system.
What do you think of the new XC90's interior, reader? Let us know in the comments below and keep your eye on our blog for future updates on this model and other brand news.
