Very soon, we'll be seeing the all-new Volvo XC90 in our inventory. It will be able to easily detect obstacles with advanced sensors-- like pedestrians, cyclists, and other traffic-- even in the dark.

It's really only a step away from an entirely autonomous vehicle. So, now that you've seen the future of Volvo, how about taking a trip through the past?

Volvo began, like all great things, as a dream. Gustaf Larson, and engineer, and Assar Gabrielsson, an economist, were two friends who dreamed of making a company founded on Swedish principals. Human safety, environmental stewardship, ruggedness, and comfort.

This dream took off, like a cartoon snowball being pushed downhill-- gaining momentum and size as it goes. Volvo's first and greatest breakthrough came in 1959, with the invention of the 3-point seatbelt. This, and the creation of the rear-facing child seat, and child booster cushion, solidified Volvo's place as a safety-driven company.

With the creation of the oxygen-probe, Volvo also landed its place in history as an environmental car company.

Come on down to Patrick Volvo to see what great thing we're working on next!
