Irv Gordon, the proud owner of a shiny red 1966 Volvo P1800, has traveled to just about every state in the U.S. But that's not all - his Volvo has more than 2.99 million miles on the odometer!

"I bought my Volvo P1800 on a Friday, and immediately fell in love," recalls Gordon. "I couldn't stop driving the car. It was a long holiday weekend, and I brought the car back to the dealership the following Monday for its 1,500-mile service."

In fact, Gordon logged 500,000 miles in 10 years due to his 125-mile round-trip daily commute and a passion to driving.

Volvo began manufacturing vehicles in 1927 and a loyal brand following has existed ever since. Volvo wanted to recognize dedicated vehicle owners like Irv Gordon (and their high mileage achievements), and so they created the Heritage Club.

• You or a member of your household has owned one or more Volvos for ten consecutive years or more
• You currently own a Volvo with more than 100,000 original miles
• You were a member of the former Volvo High Mileage Club
