When Should I See a Volvo Mechanic?

We only employ technicians who've been trained to operate on the Volvo lineup, and since we only utilize genuine OEM Volvo parts in our Volvo repairs, you can be sure that we'll get the job done right. If you're unsure of when to bring your vehicle in for regular maintenance, simply consult the following guide:

  • 7,500 miles
    • You should plan on bringing your Volvo in for an oil change, a tire rotation, and a safety inspection--every time you hit the 7,500-mile marker.
  • 10,000 miles
    • Every 10,000 miles, it's important to inspect your brakes, belts, and hoses. Leaks and other forms of damage are easy to fix when they're caught quickly!
  • 15,000 miles
    • At 15,000 miles, you'll perform the 7,500-mile services once again. You'll also have the brake pads inspected, and if necessary, replaced.
  • 20,000 miles
    • At 20,000 miles, perform the checks that you'd normally perform at 10,000 miles. You should also check and/or replace your tires and your cabin air filter. Replace the brake pads if you didn't do so when you hit 15,000 miles.
  • 22,500 miles
    • Perform the 7,500-mile service once again. We also recommend that you perform a full inspection to check for accruing damages.
  • 30,000 miles
    • When you hit 30,000 miles, you'll change your oil and have your tires rotated. You'll also perform the checks that you'd normally perform at 15,000 miles.
